How to Spot and Avoid a possible Rental Scam?
For Renters:
- DON'T send or transfer money using Western Union, Money Gram or other wire services without viewing your rental property physically and meeting Landlord in person.
- Be careful if a rental property is offered at a substantial low monthly rent.
- Be aware of Landlords who ask payment using Western Union, Money Gram or other wire services (These services are untraceable and irretrievable).
- Be aware of Landlords claim that they are working in Africa, Europe, etc ...
- Take care when you receive long e-mails written in poor english.
- DON'T provide your personal or Banking information to others.
- Should you suspect regarding any Ad on our website, please report it to us immediately
